Support Increasing the Missouri Housing Trust Fund

The Missouri Housing Trust Fund provides housing assistance to families and individuals, veterans and the elderly.  Data from the 2007 reporting period shows:

According to the Missouri Housing Development Commission, which administers the fund, roughly $4.3 million of the over $18.5 million in requested assistance was distributed last year --- a deficit of $13.8 million.

More funding can help more Missouri families, children, and veterans!

The Missouri Association for Social Welfare joined with other agencies and organizations across the state to form the Coalition for the Missouri Housing Trust Fund in 2007.  The mission of the Coalition is To ensure access to affordable housing for all Missourians.  One proven way of ensuring this access is to increase the amount of funds available through the Missouri Housing Trust Fund.  The Coalition for the Missouri Housing Trust Fund has developed the following tools to help you join the effort.
