Regional Housing Meetings
In order to organize the very large Balance of State Continuum of Care the Governor’s Committee to End Homelessness has organized these 101 counties into ten regions (see the Map). The Missouri Housing Development Commission’s (MHDC) Community Initiatives Coordinators and the HMIS Director have quarterly Regional Housing meetings in each region to inform and educate local governments and service agencies about funding opportunities, housing and homelessness issues (including HMIS), and other issues that affect local agencies that work in the field of providing or creating housing and/or shelter.
