2010 GCEH Homelessness Awareness Events
The Governor's Committee to End Homelessness held its Fifth Annual Homelessness Awareness Day event on Thursday, November 18, 2010
at the Missouri State Capitol. Because of the dedication of so many of our colleagues, this event has become such a huge success in the

Faces of Homelessness Speakers' Panel
The Governor's Committee to End Homelessness sponsored a second awareness event on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the State Capitol this year called the Faces of Homelessness Speakers’ Panel. The Panel included a moderator to present facts about homelessness, three panelists who were formerly homeless, and an answer and question session. The moderator and panelists shared information with the audience on how they could become involved in the struggle to end homelessness, from volunteering at shelters to influencing legislation.
